Velux Pitched Roof Skylights
Fixed Velux – FS
Bring the outside in with a Fixed Velux. Allow daylight in, see the sky & transform a dark room into an inviting space you don’t want to leave
Manual Opening Velux – VS
The VS manual opening Velux offers light and ventilation. Turn off the AC, switch on savings & enjoy the difference a manual opening Velux will make to your home. Standard with insect so you can enjoy fresh air without the insects
Electric Opening Velux – VSE
The Electric opening Velux offers light and ventilation with the convenience of remote control operation and built in rain sensors for piece of mind.
Solar Powered Opening – VSS
The Solar Powered opening Velux offers light and ventilation with the convenience of remote control operation and built in rain sensors for piece of mind. The best part, its powered by the sun. The VSS features a solar panel that captures available daylight to recharge a highly efficient, concealed battery-powered operator and control system.
The above models all come with an internal ponderosa pine frame & reveal prefinished white. Minimum pitch required is 15 degrees. If you don’t have 15 degrees don’t worry we can make pitched flashings to achieve the required minimum pitch. Blind accessories are available for the above range
Velux Glazing
VELUX double glazing provides heat insulation, sound insulation, added strength and safety – and protection from the elements. All VELUX Skylights are Double Glazed, Argon gas filled and Low E3 coated.
At Skydome Hunter Coast we recommend High Performance Double Glazing. When installing VELUX skylights 3m or higher above floor level, the 2004 High Performance glazing must be used to comply with Australian Standard AS1288.

FCM Range

Want to see the sky? Don’t want a timber reveal? Don’t require a blind accessory.
Consider the following FCM flat roof series. Designed for flat roofs but suitable for any.
Fixed Curb Mount – FCM
Designed for flat roofs but suitable for any, the brilliantly simple FCM flat roof skylight incorporates the VELUX High performance laminated glazing unit and an all metal exterior frame. The FCM skylight is suitable for hob mount installation. No flashings included.
Flashed FCM Series – SKYFCM
The SKYFCM series includes all the benefits of the FCM but comes complete with our Skydome one piece flashing kits. Suitable for all roof pitches the SKYFCM is brilliantly simple and a great solution when you want to see the sky but don’t require a blind accessory. High performance laminated glazing unit and an all metal exterior frame. The SKYFCM is a fully flashed skylight.
Manual Flat Roof Skylight – VCM
Designed for flat roofs, the VCM Manually Opening Skylight offers light and natural ventilation via a pole or hand winder operation. The pre-installed Insect Screen adds the benefit of keeping mosquitoes and flies out during the warmer months.
Solar Skylight – VCS
Designed for flat roofs, the VCS Solar Powered Skylight features a solar panel that captures daylight to recharge a concealed battery. The added convenience of remote control and built-in rain sensors. Designed for hob mount installation or can be installed with our Skydome one piece flashing kits.

FCM Size Range
VCS & VCM Size Range
While the FCM, VCS & VCM can be installed on a flat roof. We recommend a minimum pitch of 5 degrees to reduce condensation and ponding of water on the low edge.
